Shots Fired
Sasquatch (REED2 SASQUATCH 19-10) x Beyonce (ABF2 MISS HATHAWAY 2-10)

This one has it all going for him... the conformation and thickness of this guy coupled with his pedigree is a definite win-win. Take advantage! Beyonce was the Grand Champion, $7750 Summer Type Conference gilt investment that we made in 2013.
Nobody makes them thicker and stouter than Sasquatch.

Our current herdsire; out of Patent Pending back on our Dark Horse sow.

The sire that started it all for us.  He was truly a great one.  His stoutness, true skeletal width and muscle dimension bred on through the generations.  He can still be found in most of our pedigrees.

This boar was our pick at the 2010 NBS.  This Oak son is as big and stout as his name implies.  A boar that is square in his build and attractive in his design with the flex and soundness a person could ask for.  He sires great market hogs but we are even more excited about the gilts he has generated.

He was no doubt the most impressive Berkshire Hog at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.  He took home Grand Champion honors at the show and was the High Seller in the sale.  We were glad Miller's decided to bring him to Des Moines.  This guy knows how to make showpigs.  His pigs were the first picks out of our 2012 litters and were competitive all summer long.  He raised the Champion Berkshire Market Hog & 3rd Overall Purebred at the Iowa State Fair FFA Market Hog Show, Reserve Champion Purebred Pen of 3 at the Davis County Fair, Reserve Champion Boar at the ISF Open Show and Champion Berkshire Hog at the Clay County Fair.  The daughters that we've retained in our herd are impressive.

We weren't sure if we should take this guy to the Iowa State Fair or not.  When we got him there and saw how powerful he looked, we knew he needed to come back home and after he won Reserve Champion Boar, he did.  This Patent Pending son will go to work on our Hardwood daughters this fall and we have high hopes for his pig crop this spring.  He is as clean made and long bodied as they come while maintaining stoutness at the ground and width underneath.
